About The Faith & Belief Forum (F&BF)

F&BF has been working for over 20 years to create understanding and improve relations between people of all faiths and non-religious beliefs. We run education, engagement and action programmes that bring diverse communities together. Our primary focus is in the UK, but we also work internationally to create new models for intercultural cooperation, particularly in the EU, USA and Middle East.

Our work involves teachers, young people and young professionals, faith organisations, artists and galleries, political leaders in Parliament and upcoming leaders at university.


About this Opportunity

Amplify is an arts-based youth-led programme for Sixth Forms and Further Education colleges, which creates and strengthen safe spaces within educational institutions for exploring issues relating to faith, belief, identity, belonging, social trends and community in a rapidly interconnected and globalised world. This programme focusses on three active principles: Critical investigation, Creative Expression and Access to Platforms. These platforms range from arts and community spaces, to educational institutions, to corridors of power where young people and make their voices heard. We are looking for a passionate and engaging Spoken Word artist with a proven track record of working with young people in the arts, education, youth leadership and social action, with a genuine interest in interfaith and intercultural understanding, to join our team and co-create this exciting new initiative.


Dates and Pay

  • Fees:  £810 (flat fee)
  • Project Location: Birmingham
  • Delivery Dates: 10am – 4pm: Saturday 26 January, Saturday 2 February and Saturday 9 February

The flat fee of £810, – is broken down as follows:

  • 3 delivery days @ £250 per day = £750
  • Planning (3hrs) @ £20 per hour = £60
