Education & Learning Intern – Northwest England

We are offering a paid internship within our Education & Learning Team in Northwest England. You will support our project in schools and communities across West Morland & Furness, and Cumbria & Wigan. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the charity sector, specifically in interfaith and intercultural education. You will support our schools programme, helping to deliver engaging workshops and develop resources that promote empathy, dialogue, respect, compassion and understanding among young people.

As an intern, you will join a diverse, welcoming team committed to creating safe and inclusive spaces for learning and dialogue. We operate a remote-first working model and pride ourselves on a positive, supportive culture. This role offers valuable skill development, ongoing training, and a chance to make a real impact on interfaith education in schools.

Details:

  • Part-time, fixed-term internship for 10 months, starting late August 2025
  • The intern will work 6 days per month (flexibly arranged), ideally with availability during school hours to support workshop delivery.
  • Working days agreed in advance each month to fit around other commitments where possible.
  • Paid at the Real Living Wage of £12.60 per hour in line with our commitment to fair employment.
