Then the Faith & Belief Forum’s Interfaith Kickstart Programme is for you!

Funded by the government’s Kickstart Scheme, this is an opportunity for 16 to 24-year olds on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment to undertake a 6-month job placement at the UK’s leading interfaith organisation.

You will be working to build understanding and lasting relationships between people of all faiths and beliefs whilst gaining hands-on experience within one of our teams. You will take part in a variety of tasks, allowing you to develop personally, professionally and enhance your employability. It is both structured, offering regular training sessions, and flexible, allowing participants to tailor it to their interests and make real contributions to our work.

This role is only open to applications from individuals eligible for the government Kickstart Scheme. Please discuss with your work coach at the Job Centre if you intend to apply. It is a 25 hours/week fixed term contract which will run from Monday 8 March to Wednesday 8 September 2021. We expect the role to initially be homebased with the option to go into our COVID-secure London office if the national lockdown is lifted. This situation may change dependent on the pandemic situation. Deadline for application is 9am Monday 8 February.
