Given the closure of nearly all schools, the Faith & Belief Forum has suspended our face-to-face delivery with students and teachers. Our Education & Learning Team are continuing to support educators, young people and parents, and are working hard to convert as much as possible our in-person content into digital formats.
Over the coming weeks you’ll find educational tools and tips on our social media pages, as well as mini-lesson plans for those with students at home. Behind the scenes we continue to support teachers planning ahead with resources and activities.
Watch this space for our Encountering Faiths and Beliefs workshops going online! We’ll be sharing speaker stories and arranging live Q&A sessions for you to join and enjoy.
In other news, our ASET-funded Scriptural Reasoning project is progressing thanks to video calls with our pool of experts and project supporters. We’re working together to explore how SR as a method can be incorporated back into our educational programmes. If you’re interested in being a part of this please contact us at email@example.com
Also, The Linking Network has created a Facebook support page for families learning at home, full of fantastic content and ideas as well as a Home Learning area on their website. Do feel free share these with your networks.
As we go into April, our focus will remain on supporting each other and the participants of all of our programmes, and until we are physically back in schools again, hope that everyone stays safe.
