On Monday 25 August 2025, the capital will come together for the Interfaith Wellbeing Festival. A first for the city and the country, the event will both celebrate London’s diverse communities and also give Londoners of all ages and backgrounds an opportunity to learn about and take part in activities focussed on different aspects of wellbeing – all while having a fantastic fun family day out on August Bank Holiday Monday.
The end of summer day will be be a never-before-seen chance to take part in an array of activities that focus on different aspects of personal and communal wellbeing that draw on global traditions including sport for young people and families, meditation led by faith communities, creative activities from London charities, and employability drop-ins led by community groups. There’s bound to be something for everyone!
The Interfaith Wellbeing Festival, isn’t just another fun day out though – it’s come about through a year of hard work to bring Londoners closer together and has been a truly collective effort. Matthew Gold from the Faith and Belief Forum has been coordinating a group of six faith based organisations as a core partnership group to make this a true example of coproduction by the city’s communities, for the city’s communities.
