This report launch will share the findings of our research into the ways UK individuals and communities responded to – and were impacted by – the violence, riots and unrest in the summer of 2024.
This report looks both at those areas worst affected and presents new research on little-known impacts on communities in areas that didn’t see significant violence, in particular Glasgow and Solihull. This will be an interactive session, allowing an exploration of some of the ways people affected by the violence can respond, reflect, and heal as communities.
This event will be of particular interest to communities impacted and those who wish to support them – including Muslims and others from ethnic minority and immigrant backgrounds, and refugees and asylum seekers. It will also be of interest to those involved in Interfaith engagement, those with an interest in Restorative Justice/Practices, and anyone concerned about deepening divisions and rising tensions in our society.
Register now and details of how to join this Zoom meeting will be sent to you via email.

The Interfaith Restorative Justice Project (IRJP), from partners The Faith & Belief Forum, Interfaith Glasgow and Why Me?, explores how Restorative Justice practices can be applied to address hostility against and between faith communities in Solihull and Glasgow.
IRJP is a 3-year National Lottery-funded project.
