Event Category:

Almost a third of women of colour report being unfairly denied a promotion at work. Women of colour deserve to be heard and recognised at work. It is time for a change.

Fawcett Society, the Runnymede Trust and The Faith & Belief Forum are inviting women of colour to a roundtable exploring the barriers facing WoC in the workplace and what solutions can be found. The roundtable will take place on 20th September, at 11am via zoom. The event should last no longer than 2 hours.

The roundtable will help inform the content of our project exploring pay and progression of women of colour and what recommendations we put to the Government to tackle racial discrimination in society.

The objective of our project is to shine a light on the experience of women of colour in the workplace and find out why women of colour are rendered invisible in senior leadership positions. As part of this work, we will produce a report, a literature review, interviews, a survey and consultation events.

Please feel free to share the link with other women who you feel would be suitable for this roundtable consultation.

If you are able to attend, please RSVP via the Eventbrite link here or contact: linsey@runnymedetrust.org

If you have any queries, feel free to contact Linsey Bholah: linsey@runnymedetrust.org
