As part of our work to improve participation and inclusion for young people of different faiths and beliefs, The Faith & Belief Forum are delighted to be able to offer this funded taster session of our Faith Inclusion Skills training for Local Authority staff.
The session will take place via Zoom, with a strictly limited number of places.
What is this workshop?
This taster session will introduce you to The Faith & Belief Forum’s research with communities, and will equip you with introductory principles and practical skills for your work with residents and colleagues of diverse faith and belief backgrounds.
Through interactive activities and facilitated discussion, you will consider important questions such as: Where does religion, faith and belief come up in your work at the moment, and why? How can we communicate sensitively and effectively about issues related to religion, faith and belief, without causing offense? How can we best support the people we work with to ensure their faith-based needs are met?
This participatory online workshop will enable networking and learning from our expert community practitioners as well as others from key organisations.
