LGBTQ+ FaithFULL Collective

As part of our National Lottery funded LGBTQ+ Faith and Wellbeing Project, we’re recruiting 25 individuals from a wide range of faith and belief backgrounds, based in London, Birmingham and Manchester, to join a new LGBTQ+ FaithFULL Collective.

The Collective will bring together a group of people from a wide range of faith and belief backgrounds, who are dedicated to improving the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people of faith.

Through a series of workshops and trainings, the Collective will explore key themes of identity, wellbeing, and storytelling, and will build skills in dialogue, peer support, and project management.

Then, working in small teams, Collective members will design and run social action projects in their local communities to address current issues in relation to LGBTQ+ Faith and Wellbeing.

The Collective will run between Autumn 2025 to Autumn 2026.

We are now recruiting for the Collective. If you are interested in joining, keep reading for more info!

Our goal is to empower LGBTQ+ people and allies from diverse faith and belief communities to become advocates for inclusion and wellbeing. Through a combination of training, workshops, and social action projects, Collective members will:

  • Connect across lines of faith, belief, and identity
  • Receive expert training and mentoring
  • Build knowledge, skills, and confidence to drive change
  • Design and run social action projects that support the wellbeing of LGBTQ+ people of faith in your local area

Collective members will take part in a series of interactive and engaging workshops and training sessions covering topics such as LGBTQ+ and Faith Intersections, Mental Health & Wellbeing, and Storytelling for Change, as well as training on project management, safeguarding, conflict management and media.

Collective members will also work collaboratively in small, diverse teams to design and run social action projects in their local communities, supported by micro-grants and mentoring. Projects will address current issues in relation to LGBTQ+ Faith and Wellbeing specific to their local communities. This might look like anything from hosting a book group or panel event, to volunteering with a local charity or convening a dialogue with local faith leaders.
