Faithful Allies 2024

Welcome to this toolkit, to support your Faithful Allies journey.

Faithful Allies focused on allyship for LGBTQ+ people of faith. Through a series of educational dialogue and peer support sessions between January and May 2024, Faithful Allies brought together 10 faith and community leaders to build up their knowledge, skills, and confidence to make positive change for LGBTQ+ inclusion in their faith communities. During the programme, participants developed an allyship project in their own communities.

The toolkit includes a range of practical strategies to support your own Faithful Allies journey, with a focus on LGBTQ+ inclusion in faith spaces. It includes session learnings, recommended reading, and useful links to enhance your allyship skills.

Whilst it’s designed for the Faithful Allies project, these principles are adaptable to various contexts where you might find yourself promoting inclusion and having challenging conversations.

This programme was kindly supported by MB Reckitt Trust and the London Engagement Collaborative Good Ideas Fund.
