To recognise and celebrate National Interfaith Week, NCS Trust in collaboration with the leading national interfaith organisation, the Faith & Belief Forum, will come together to discuss ‘How do we create programmes that are inclusive, navigate questions about diversity and support young people from faith/belief backgrounds?’

The panel will consist of individuals and organisations including the Salam Project, The Jewish Lads and Girls Brigade (JLGB), members of our Youth Voice Forum and NCS staff members.

Understanding the role of faith and belief in UK society

How National Interfaith Week helps us to increase awareness of the different and distinct faith communities in the UK, and strengthens good interfaith relations at all levels, including religious and non-religious communities

An opportunity to share practical advice about communication, design and delivery of programmes that are accessible to young people from diverse faith/belief backgrounds

Understanding some of the perceived barriers to young people from diverse faith/belief backgrounds in engaging with youth programmes such as NCS
