It’s that time of year again, and we’re absolutely thrilled! For the third year running, we’re gearing up to welcome hundreds of runners and spectators from wonderfully diverse faith and belief communities to the annual London Interfaith Fun Run at the StoneX Stadium in Barnet.
Runners of all kinds are getting ready to tackle the challenge of 1km, 5km, and 10km routes But this is more than just a run – it’s an incredible celebration of togetherness, positivity, and pure fun for everyone involved. It’s a powerful pledge to friendship, community, and mutual respect that unites people of all faiths and beliefs. It’s a chance for us to stand in solidarity, united across our diverse communities.
Alongside the run, participants and observers will enjoy a buzzing festival area, featuring performances from diverse cultures, opportunities for interfaith encounters, and free activities for all ages. The Interfaith Zone will come alive with an array of performances, from storytelling and spoken word to dancers and musicians, making it an enjoyable experience for the whole family. We are so excited to welcome some wonderful performers, including:
We are also thrilled to be working with 37 incredible charity partners, who will host stalls in the Charity Fair. They’ll be sharing information about their work, along with fun and interactive activities for people of all ages to get involved with.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support of Dangoor Education and the Greater London Lieutenancy’s Council of Faith.
Even if you haven’t already, you can still run the 1k, 5k, and 10k races, which costs only £2 to sign up on the day. If you’re not quite ready to don your running shoes, you’re more than welcome to join us as a free spectator. Come cheer on the runners, soak up the atmosphere, and explore our Charity Fair and Interfaith Zone. There’ll be an array of delicious food available on-site, as well as a multifaith prayer and quiet space for all to use.
Our hope is that this fun-filled day will spark thought-provoking conversations and forge new connections among people of diverse faith and belief backgrounds.
