West Midlands – Impact and Change

Our West Midlands team have been busy advocating for interfaith understanding and equality across the country. In this blog we are sharing updates from our work showcasing the impact and change we are making across the UK. Below are some highlights of this month.

Neighbourhood Watch Conference, London.

On 31^st May, in partnership with the Jo Cox Foundation, F&BF delivered a workshop on how we can build more compassionate cities and bring communities together at the Neighbourhood Watch Conference in London. F&BF injected the faith element to the workshop.

Birmingham Race Impact Summit.

On May 25^th  we took part in the Birmingham Race Impact Summit, representing faith groups in the city. This summit marks the beginning of a collective cross-city effort to get serious about tackling racial inequalities by accountable actions that will be judged by its citizens.

Religion Media Festival.  

On the 16^th of May we attended the Religion Media Festival and represented F&BF and our work in Birmingham during Interfaith Week at the Religion Media Centre Exploring Belief at the 4^th Religion Media Festival at the JW3 in London.
