We will be teaming up with Open Iftar to provide an evening of interfaith insight! Two volunteer speakers will share their personal journeys and reflections about their identity before opening up to questions. We have taken our flagship interfaith workshop and gone virtual! This event will enable you to not only hear about the work we do, but to see it for yourself!
Open Iftar is the flagship initiative of Ramadan Tent Project. Since 2013, Open Iftar has been inviting people from all walks of life, different faith backgrounds and none, to come together to break fast, share food & engage in inspiring conversation. In fact, it was this very initiative that led Open Iftar to receive a London Faith & Belief Community Award for their work in Interfaith Relations in 2019!
Usually Open Iftar events take place in person, welcoming people from all backgrounds and walks of life to share food and learn together but with outbreak of COVID-19, they have gone virtual and taken the initiative online!
